Arriving to Budapest Airport
The most convenient way for international visitors is to come through Budapest - the capital of Hungary. Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport is easily accessible by flights from all around the world.
Shuttle bus from the airport to Szeged
Conference participants can apply for scheduled and private shuttle buses between Budapest Airport and Szeged. The journey takes ~1:45 hours depending on traffic. Scheduled transfers may wait a reasonable time for late passengers. Shuttle buses depart from Terminal 2 and participants are transported to their hotels in Szeged. On the closing day of the conference we provide scheduled transfers back to Budapest Airport.
Please note that we provide shuttle bus services only between Budapest Airport terminals and the conference hotel (Hunguest Hotel Forrás, Szeged).
The price of a one-way scheduled transfer per person is 32 EUR.
How to apply?
In the registration process please add the required transfers to your basket. All participants booking transfer are required to send their flight number, departure time and the airport number to the Congress Secretariat (firstname.lastname@example.org). The exact departure of the coaches will be announced later.
Passengers can easily reach Ferihegy railway station (Budapest Airport Terminal 1) from Terminal 2A or 2B by bus 200E. The two platforms of the railway station are connected to Terminal 1 with a pedestrian footbridge of Ferihegy railway station equipped with lifts above the clearway. A short pedestrian path of just 200 meters takes the passengers from the terminal to the Ferihegy railway station.
Arriving travelers can buy their tickets at the website of Hungarian railway company (this option is available only two months before the day of traveling) or at platform B at the railway station from the ticket vending machine (except InterCity seat reservation tickets.).

Arriving to the East Station (Keleti pu.)
Take Metro #2 (red line) to Deák Square and change for Metro #3 (blue line) to the West Station (This ride takes approximately 15 minutes.). For this journey purchase one single ticket at the ticket office.
Arriving to the South Station (Déli pu.)
Take Metro #2 (red line) to Deák Square and change for Metro #3 (blue line) to the West Station. (This ride takes 30 minutes). For this journey purchase one single ticket at the ticket office.
Arriving to the West Station (Nyugati pu.)
From the West Train Station trains to Szeged leave every hour and 53 minutes. You can find the train schedule at the website of the Hungarian railway company.
